Online Danish lessons is a special program for students who are unable to participate in regular courses but who have time available for independent work toward fast learning. You should have completed some university level education and speak excellent English.
The online lessons program from IA Sprog allows you to study Danish whenever and wherever you want. The program includes a weekly Skype meeting with your instructor and a fellow student plus 8-10 hours of independent study. Two online workshops are offered each week.
The program combines a wide variety of interactive exercises on our online platform with personal feedback from your instructor, allowing for maximum flexibility when it comes to fitting your studies into your regular routines.
The weekly Skype meeting is scheduled for 60 minutes with a focus on pronunciation and verbal communication. You will get feedback on your independent studies, and a chance to review your assignments. You will be learning enough spoken Danish to take part in discussions about topics covered by the news media in Denmark. You will learn how to write a notice for the bulletin board in your apartment building, write an e-mail job application or put together a short essay on a topic related to current events.
In addition, you will learn to read and understand newspaper articles and other texts – authentic materials as well as material created specifically for the lessons program. In the weekly workshops you can focus on areas in need of extra work.
You will learn more in the online program, if you speak Danish every day. Good general grammar skills will also help you learn more quickly.
Online Danish is concluded with Danish Language Exam 3.
