In our Online Danish course , you can participate from home, from your workplace or even from abroad. You want to learn to speak, read, write and understand Danish. You have a busy work life, travel a lot, or you even live in another country, but you need to learn Danish.
We have a course for you!
We offer an online Danish course in two parts: Online Danish course 1 and Online Danish course 2. At the end of the second course (5-6 months’ time), you will be able to communicate in Danish in a simple, but understandable way. You will have reached level A2 of the Common European Framework of Reference (CEFR).
If you just wish a brief intro to the Danish language because you’re about to move to Denmark, Online Danish course 1 alone might be the perfect solution.
Placement interview online
Before start, you will be invited for a placement interview with our student counsellor. This will also take place online.
Focus on pronunciation
From day one, there will be a special focus on pronunciation as this is essential in order for you to be understood by Danish speakers. At the same time, you will be working with reading, listening and communication strategies while exploring subjects related to everyday life, work, and education in Denmark.
A weekly video conference
You will participate in a video conference once a week with your teacher and the other students of the course for two and a half hours. This is a perfect way to practice your oral Danish, discuss grammatical issues and get guidance from your teacher. Reading and writing take place outside the virtual classroom, but you will of course get written feedback from your teacher.
As a student at IA Sprog you will have access to a huge, unique digitalized, interactive material developed by our own professional teachers and researchers through the last 30 years.
