Take a Danish Crash Course at CBS with IA Sprog!
As an international CBS student, you have the option of taking a five-day “Danish Crash Course” at CBS. It will be a week of learning the basic language of your host country and will, at the same time, give you the chance to have fun by getting to know some of your fellow students. So, if you want to get even more out of your stay in Denmark, you can get your first taste of the Danish language with us.
Danish Crash Course January 2020:
The five-day intensive crash course consists of four lessons of instruction per day. Focus will primarily be on introducing you to the Danish society and oral Danish language: the language you will hear and use in everyday life, when for instance greeting people, shopping, using public transportation and visiting attractions in Copenhagen. You will also learn some grammar, syntax and pronunciation (no ECTS credits).
Jump-Start online Danish: Even before your arrival in Denmark, you will be provided access to our online Danish course, Jump-Start, where you can get a short introduction to aspects of the Danish language. Once you have registered and paid for the course (see details below), we will send you the code for the online course by e-mail. This course is not mandatory, but a chance to learn more Danish.
Our expectations: Attendance and participation are vital for success in this course. Certificates of Participation will be awarded for full attendance and participation in the course.
Registration for the course is on a first come, first served basis. Please note that this course is not intended for native speakers of other Scandinavian languages. If there is sufficient demand for a Danish course for Scandinavians, one can be arranged.
