This summer, final proficiency tests in Danish will be taking place on the following dates:

Written tests:
‘Studieprøven’: May 21st.
Danish language 3: May 22nd.
Danish language 2: May 23rd.
Danish language 1: May 24th.

Listening test for ‘Studieprøven’: June 6th.

Oral tests will be taking place June 13th – 26th.

Examinations might be relocated

The construction of a mosque at Vibevej might cause so much noise that this winters examination in Danish level 2 and 3 at November 22nd and 23rd will be held at another location than IA.

It is not yet decided where the examination will take place in case of relocation. But the students will probably not have the chance to use their laptops at another location.

If the constructor can guarantee that noise from construction will be at a minimum at the particular days the examination will be held at IA.

FVU at IA – now also on Saturdays

Dates for final language tests

This year, next final proficiency tests in Danish will be taking place on the following dates:

Written test for ‘Studieprøven’: November 21st.

Written test for Danish language 3: November 22nd.

Written test for Danish language 2: November 23rd.

Written test for Danish language 1: November 24th.

All tests start at 9.00 am.

Listening test for ‘Studieprøven’: November 30th at 1.00 pm.

Oral tests begin December 7th. Last test take place December 20th.

Results of summer exams 2011

266 of the students at Sprogcenter IA sat for summer examination in 2011:

12 students sat for examination in Danskuddannelse 1 and got an average of 6,25.

81 students sat for examination in Danskuddannelse 2 with an average of 6,5.

163 students sat for examination in Danskuddannelse 3 with an average of 6,3.

7 students, who sat for ‘Studieprøven’ got an average of 7,1.

Danish assistance to Scandinavians

Are you tired of being misunderstood? This fall, IA Erhverv offers a Danish course to Scandinavians who work or study in Denmark. The 13 week course focuses on pronunciation, grammatical differences between the Scandinavian languages, ‘everyday Danish vocabulary’ as well as reading, listening and written communication.

Danish and Hygiene course in Sprogcenter IA

Ia Erhverv’s next combination courses in Danish and food hygiene will start October 3rd and October 25th.

This combination course consists of 24 lessons job related Danish and 24 hygiene lessons, and is finalized with an authorized test in hygiene. The course is free of charge.

The new test dates for Danish courses for adult immigrants in 2011 have been announced. The dates for the May / June tests are as follows:
Written tests:  
Studieprøven: May 23
Prøve i Dansk 3: May 24
Prøve i Dansk 2: May 25
Prøve i Dansk 1: May 26
Makeup test for Studieprøve: May 30
Studieprøve listening test: June 1 at 13:00
Oral part of the test: June 8-22
Dates for the November / December examinations are as follows:
Written tests:
Studieprøven: November 21
Prøve i Dansk 3: November 22  
Prøve i Dansk 2: November 23
Prøve i Dansk 1: November 24  
Listening part of Studieprøve: November 30 at 13.00

Deadline for registration: December 12

Citizenship tests 2011
The dates for the “Indfødsretsprøverne” (citizenship tests) in 2011 are set for:
Monday, June 6 at 13:00 – 13:45 / Friday, December 2 at 13:00 – 13:45
Registration deadline for the June 6th test is May 2, 2011 and the deadline for the December 2nd test is October 28, 2011.

Nearly 370 of IA’s students took a Danish examination (“danskprøve”) in 2010. This is how it went:

Prøve i Dansk 1: Average grade 5.8. 10 IA students took the test.  
Prøve i Dansk 2: Average grade 6.8. 56 IA students took the test.  
Prøve i Dansk 3: Average grade 6.9. 92 IA students took the test.  
Studieprøven: Average grade 9.0. 4 IA students took the test.
Examinations in November / December  
Prøve i Dansk 1: Average grade 6.6. 12 IA students took the test.
