On the weekend, too. Sprogcenter IA’s Saturday classes are aimed at Danish level 3-students who are busy working or studying during the week and therefore do not have time to attend regular day or evening classes.
Instruction consists of a combination of classroom instruction, distance learning and self-study. Students can also download exercises from the teachers’ individual websites.
Method and content
In the classroom on Saturdays, the focus is primarily on oral communication and pronunciation. Moreover, the teacher will prepare the student for the self-study exercises to be worked on during the week.
The student’s independent work includes, among other things: listening, reading and writing. This is done at a speed and at a level that is tailored to each student.
Saturday classes and distance learning use a specially designed teaching system, “Skolegade”, which contains:

▪ Audio files
▪ IT programmes
▪ Books
The student can, via internet forum, contact his/her teacher and fellow students during the week for help and guidance.
