Communication and job satisfaction. IA Erhverv (IA Business), in collaboration with the Agro School in Hammerum, has developed a special Danish language offer to foreigners, especially from eastern European countries, working in the Danish agricultural sector.
Tuition in agro Danish is organized to enhance communication between farmer and worker. It increases safety in the workplace and enhances job satisfaction and mutual understanding.
The Danish course is designed using distance tuition online. For the students this entails that they can learn Danish even though they have irregular working hours and are far removed from a language school.

Instruction
The Danish lessons consists of:
▪ One weekly online meeting
▪ Preparation and tutorial
Once a week, the teacher and two students meet via Skype. The students sit at home, while the teacher is at IA Sprog in Copenhagen. Additionally, the students spend 3-8 hours per week in preparation, using computer programs and books which are provided by IA Sprog for free.
Each module is finished with a test either at the Agro School in Hammerum or at IA Sprog. As a IA online student you can only sit for the final exam at IA Sprog in Copenhagen.
It is important to note that online teaching requires a stable Internet connection and a computer with webcam.
